At the Youth Service Bureau, we know that the work our staff does each day to support children, youth, and families is both meaningful and demanding. That’s why we believe it’s important to take time to celebrate our team, strengthen relationships, and simply enjoy each other’s company outside of the workplace.

Recently, YSB hosted an agency outing at the Portland Water Park for our staff and their families. We couldn’t have asked for a better day! With sunny skies and beautiful weather, everyone had the opportunity to cool off in the pool, relax, and spend quality time together.

After a fun-filled morning at the water park, everyone gathered back at the YSB for a cookout. The delicious food, great conversations, and plenty of laughter made for a wonderful afternoon. It was a chance for coworkers and their families to connect in a different setting and build the relationships that help make YSB such a supportive place to work.

Events like these remind us that a strong organization is built on strong relationships. Investing in our employees and creating opportunities for fellowship and fun helps strengthen our team, which ultimately benefits the children, youth, and families we serve every day.
